20th Show: Andy Suzuki!!

To celebrate our 20th show we had the up and coming artist Andy Suzuki on the show! He let us know a little bit about his current on-going experience of trying to break into the Japanese music industry. If you missed this show, unfortunately, you missed out on a lot of laughs, a chance to get teary eyed and the possibility of swooning (he sang live on the show). You'll just have to wait until we post the show on youtube.

Not only is he great with writing about personal experiences (check out the song '300 Pianos' and 'Fool'), he is surprisingly down to earth and charming.

Andy Suzuki is John Mayer meets Sara Bareilles. Imagine their half-Asian lovechild. Then add an electric violinist who solos like a lead guitarist and a percussionist who swings his dreds harder than anyone ever asks him to. The outcome is Andy Suzuki & The Method.

Andy Suzuki is a half-Japanese, half-Jewish singer-songwriter based in NYC who writes songs in English and performs Japanese cover songs by artists such as Angela Aki and Naotarou Moriyama. Check him out at the links below:

1 vs. 1: The 11th Show!

The 11th Show: 1 vs. 1
Niiice.

We announced:
The NEW! Babelpop Contest - Tell a Friend & Get a Gift Card
An upcoming radio interview w/ D.I.

Not bad for a 2hr show right?

... We also called Yamapi "Yampi"... and referred to SME's latest girl group f(x) as F of X, as opposed FX (their REAL name). Sigh...

In addition to all this Kpop Jpop madness, we kept making "kissy" noises to our mics because of this video by the attractive Trey Songz. We dedicate this video to our listeners: Kisses Goodbye
Our SayNOW! Goodbye: http://bit.ly/rbRt1

Trey Songz's Album "Ready" is in stores now by the way.
<--*ahem*

Q.o.W
:
Who would win in a fight?

@icecapades - I want to see SS501 Kim Hyun Joong vs Yamapi fight. They look so much alike.

@angelbabi1225 - Hmm.. tough decision! LOL But I think Se7en and Rain would be interesting~ Love them both!! =]

Your turn~!
