Sorry, Sorry - Answer Behind the Scenes Released!

With the time until the New Year dwindling away, here's a last Super Junior gift for everyone. Recently, Super Junior released a re-made version of their hit song, "Sorry, Sorry." The song was called "Sorry, Sorry - Answer." Here we have the behind-the-scenes video for this song:

With everything that's going on right now, it's nice to see the members in a good mood. Hopefully this spirit will continue into the New Year, not just for Super Junior or Kpop, but for all our fans, listeners, and supporters, as well.

And, for those of you who somehow missed the original video, here's a link for that, as well:

F.Cuz Releases Trailer for their MV!

With the time ticking away until F.Cuz's release, a trailer has been released for their upcoming single, entitled "Ziggy" (or "Jiggy").

It's a short trailer, and there's no voice in the track, but it gives listeners a feel for what kind of tempo to expect for the song. After hearing it, I really like the upbeat and happy feeling it has, while still managing to retain a level of sophistication and simplicity in the dress and backdrop. Also, the members look much different from their teaser photos and such (I was almost unable to recognize YeJun). Hopefully the full MV will change the mind of anyone still a little unsure on this new group!

First we get to see the boys shopping for Christmas.

Not only do we get to see the boys interact with one another, and get to know them a bit, but we get to finally see them sing together (and decorate a tree)!

A little video update to carry us through until their official debut, perhaps? After seeing them sing, and seeing them interact with one another a little more, what are your thoughts on them?

Buddhu's Blues: Hangeng v. SM

When things like this arise, I think it's most important to present the facts, and not get caught up in all of the rumors. I will start by presenting what is known about the current situation, and will leave any personal comments for the end. Amongst all of the confusion of rumors, it is helpful to have a clear distinction between the facts and anything else.

- Hankyung has filed a request for the termination of his contract from SM.
- There was a phone interview with Hankyung's laywer, Kim Jinwook. Below is the transcript:

===
Super Junior's Chinese Member Hankyung has filed a litigation at the Seoul District Court on the 21st at 1pm about the effect of his exclusive contract.

Reporters are currently on a phone interview with Hankyung's (who is in China) lawyer, Kim Jinwook. Lawyer Kim said, indeed he has filed a litigation about terminating the contract with SM, but to whether Hankyung will continue Super Junior's activities, it has been undecided.

[*] -It has been heard 2 types of litigation were filed today.
"It is confirmed that 2 litigations have been filed against the exclusive contract to not be valid and to terminate the contract. Simply put, the former says to terminate the exclusive contract and the latter is saying that until the exclusive contract is terminated, and until legal effect of the termination has taken place, (he) will be able to act in accordance of temporary activities at (his) own will."

[*]-When did Hankyung prepare for this litigation?
"This is hard to answer. When the statement is released, it will be answered."

[*]-The main point of this litigation is similar to Dong Bang Shin Ki 3 member's exclusive contract?
"Majority speaking, it is almost similar. Hankyung's contract is valid for 13 years, there are indeed many unfair clauses, so (he) decided to file the litigation."

[*]-Has he been contacting the 3 members of DBSK?
"I am not very sure. Hankyung will state his own stand as soon as possible."

[*]-Has the first date of the trial been decided?
"At the moment, not yet. The full situation has been sorted out properly. DBSK's sequestration contract has been terminated, and the process of applying it to finishing the statement, takes about 2 months. Hankyung does not want to spend such a long time. DBSK's situation has mediation in between, and has undergone trial a few times, so the time spent has been pretty long, we hope that Hankyung's litigation will be solved as soon as possible."

[*]-Did Hankyung think of continuing activities as part of Super Junior or will he leave the group?"
"That I am not too sure. As for Super Junior's activities, up till now, there has been no decision made."

[*]-It has been heard that (he) plans to have solo activities in China?
"I have not heard of that."

Lastly, another article regarding this issue:

"SJ-M's Manager: News of Han Geng's contract termination was released by fans, in the midst of coordinating with the company."

December 21, reports have emerged that Chinese celebrity Han Geng has officially filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment with the Seoul District Court, asking for a termination of contract. Once this news was released, the level of this 'explosion' is no less than that of Dong Bang Shin Ki's case previously. Ent.163.com has contacted SJ-M's manager Kim Min Wook (?) to respond to Han Geng's opting out. Kim Min Wook said he himself was not sure if Han Geng initiated the termination of contract, and that he saw the news from the internet, "All news were said by fans, the company does not know (anything)."

Kim Min Wook added, he saw that a lot of Super Junior related news surfaced online today, but in regard to whether Han Geng, as per what the rumours have stated, has filed the lawsuit with the Seoul District Court against SM Entertainment's to be terminated, he isn't very sure himself, and is currently reaffirming this with the company, Kim Min Wook said, "All the news are what fans said."

As to whether it is a worry, as being Super Junior's only foreign Chinese artiste, if Han Geng's opting out will affect Super Junior's development in China, Kim Min Wook repeated again, "If there is really something, we will discuss it well with Han Geng and hope that Super Junior's future development will not be affected." Once the news of Han Geng terminating the contract spread, Ent.163.com surveyed fans. 80% of the fans think that it is SM's doing of cooking up publicity for Super Junior's Asia tour next year. To why they say it's a form of cooking up publicity, Kim Min Wook declined to respond but only repeated "Thank You" non-stop and hurriedly hung up the phone.

Most importantly, fans should be patient and wait for more news instead of making accusations or jumping to conclusions. Super Junior fans are called Ever Lasting Friends, and it's time to show the members of Super Junior that their fans will remain loyal during this time. As there is more information released about this sensitive case, we will try to bring updates as soon as possible.

Kan from F.Cuz

With F.Cuz's debut drawing ever closer, it feels like the updates don't stop coming! Not that anyone's complaining, as a new set of photos have been released from the photoshoot, and they're of the highly popular dancer, Kan! Enjoy:

Rome's Rant: Skip Beat!

OK, so it happened again. My latest OBSESSION is:
Skip Beat
.

Guys... this show is amazing.

Skip Beat is about a girl (Kyoko) who, when about 3 or 4, was left in the care of this well to do family who had a son (Sho) she fell hard for. When older, Sho leaves for Tokyo to pursue his acting career, and asks Kyoko to leave with him. Of course, she says yes.

In Tokyo, they live in a luxury apartment which SHE has to pay for, she works two jobs, pays ALL the bills, cooks his meal, etc... He, in turn, treats her like sh.t. But she sees it as him being tired from work, and his frustrations over trying to beat Japan's heart-throb, Ren Tsuruga, getting the better of him.

 Whatever.

One day she delivers food to his work and over hears his true feelings for her. He calls her plain, boring, and states that he is just using her to take care of him. She swears revenge on him, and to which he states that unless she enters the showbiz world, she would never get close enough to even touch him (hurt him). So, she does what any vengeful person would do, and decides to enter showbiz.

OK, that's all in the first episode. But it gets so so much better. Listen to Rome. Check it out. I haven't watched an anime or read a manga in a while, let alone one I've enjoyed as much as I have this one, so... it comes HIGHLY recommended.

Taiwan has plans of making this drama with the beloved Ariel Lin, who, after much thought, I believe can pull the role of Kyoko off.  There are also talks of Jerry Yan playing Ren.  The anime gets really intense. It's about acting and how to properly execute an action as well as convey a character.   As an anime, it's easy to get caught up, and believe that the character really did become another person.

It's gotta be incredibly hard for a real actress to do that. But, I believe that if anyone was to do it, Ariel can. She's my favorite taiwanese actress (little known fact) and she does great work. As for Jerry.... well... he can pull off the "mean" part of Ren... and the aloofness. Those are the characters Jerry always plays. I am a bit afraid that Ren will turn into a Dao Ming Si or a Dong Fang Xian, two roles Jerry Yan has portrayed in the past.  Because of him past roles, sure, I can see how Jerry playing Ren... but it wouldn't be the Ren from the manga or the anime.

Either way,  I'm anxious to see how this drama would turn out.

P.S. - Japan has a freaking video game of this show! You KNOW it's good when there's a video game. So, if you're bored... looking for something to get into, or check out. Check this out for sure.

An Update on F.Cuz Videos

With all the publicity these four are getting, it's difficult to think their debut is just less than a month away!

Here we get to see just a bit of maknae YeJun acting silly for the camera. There is a dance in this video...F'Cuz's dance for their debut single, perhaps? We also get to see a large smattering of their clothes. (And who else is excited for Kan's solo pictures? Based on the photos of him in that jacket...I can't wait)

Here is more from the set, and an interview with photographer Kim Yong Jun.

With all these teasers being released, it makes me more excited for the real thing! The boys already look like they have their dance moves in sync, which is always a good thing. And, we already saw the members showcase their vocals and abilities for us.

Well, what kind of impression is F.Cuz making on you guys? Do you think they're just hype and won't deliver? Do you think they'll revolutionize the current Kpop scene? What do you think?

In addition, father of LeeU, famous trot singer Sul Woon Do, as well as Lee Su Geun. Here are the pictures:

F.Cuz Releases More Pictures - YeJun

With the deluge of pictures that came with LeeU, it's only natural that a similar number are released for maknae, YeJun.

How would you guys describe F.Cuz's concept? It seems very interesting to me...though I am not feeling YeJun's black pants with squares on them, I feel like these guys are able to pull off these outrageous-yet-mesmerizing fashions. I think G-Dragon would be proud.
