Covers, Collborations, and Cool Chicks
Covers, Collaborations, and Cool Chicks!: The Fourth Show
Yes! Mad Alliteration skills for a mad 4th show! Eat it.
So, this week's theme was actually pretty great (and so was the show). We (Rome and Adio, the Cool Chicks of Krome Radio) played the awesome Cover 'Gee' By Natalie White (aka PumaShock). PumaShock was featured on the famed Korean Show Star King for her cover and won the hearts of many kpop fans all over. In fact she is partly the reason why I (Rome) have warmed up to covers of all kinds as well as 'Gee.' Nice. In any case, check Pumashock out at her website, blog, and twitter for maximum Pumashock-ness and more about her.
The Question of the week was about Collaborations... what kpop, jpop, cpop, pop collab would be crazy (good or just off)? Feel free to drop your answers in the comments, in fact, that'd be real nice. For the question, we played some collabs like Akon and Wilber Pan, Crown J with Lena Park and Navi, JJ Lin with FAMA, BoA with Sean Garrett, a
nd Chunglim with BENZI. You could say Krome Radio collaborated with Pumashock to debut her cover in Radioland. To further the

On there we have our premiere debut show's playlist and so if you missed the first show or you would like
to re-live it and listen to those great songs and our amaaazing DJ talent, go check it out!
Also, the blog entry we did about our debut show has been updated with all the songs we played (in the order they were played in) and who sung each song! Click Me.
Unfortunately though, the entire 2hrs of the show was not able to be recorded so, you only get that first hour. Keeps you wanting more though right? There's nothing like a live show!

7/11 Happy Birthday ADIO!!
My Dearest Adio, 
How are you since the last time I saw you... about a couple of hours ago? Today is your birthday and I think it is the best time to reflect about your life and all your accomplishments. Like your good grades and the wonderful personality that you have. But, most of all the fact that you have ME in your life. Rome.
So, count your blessings... not everyone in the world can have someone as fantastic as me in their lives... it's quite unfortunate actually.

Rome's Rant: The Twitter Thing
Some guy wrote on jyp's twitter commenting on jyp's tweet lingo. That's fine. But then he went on to say how jyp "talked like a black man." ....I got curious and decided to check the guy's page out. To my surprise he had the N-word splattered all over his twitter and HE had the nerve to call JYP out like that? Really? REALLY? How is he to bring up something like when he obviously uses a word like that...
Irony aside, it's just foul of him to willy nilly throw that word like does.
Did his people get kidnapped, taken on ships, chained together and thrown overboard sent to their deaths like it was nothing? ... ugh, it's not even just that. I'm so tired of seeing people use this word like it's an ok word to use. Even people who's ancestors were treated that way, but mostly ignorant folks that just throw it around like the word doesn't have an ugly history.
It's upsetting and heart breaking.
If it's hard to understand what I wrote, well... I'm upset and cant focus too well. Lo siento. Our radio show is censored to avoid offending ppl and so we couldnt spend a lot of time on this topic. ...And to be honest if we had, we'd be kicked off for what would've come out of my mouth and I didnt want Adio and Krome to go down over something like this. As gross as it is. I had to step away from the computer as well because I was about to put him on blast but again, I had to think about Adio and Krome. Otherwise...
The more I think about it the more I get upset so this is it

I made a mistake... I, for some reason, kept thinking of Yoona from Girls Generation was the leader of the group...
When actually the leader of the group is NOT Yoona (right) but Taeyeon (left)...
This is pretty embarrassing because I like to pride myself on my kpop game and so making this rookie mistake is actually kinda gross. Sorry to all the listeners for throwing them through a mind finkle with that one.
